Hello thanks for viewing. The car will sold as is. It will not start. You will need to tow it or bring a trailer.
It was running a couple weeks ago. Then the battery died. After fully recharging the battery, I installed it and electrical worked again. However , the car would not start. Just a bunch of clicking. Then the battery completely drained again
This has happened a few times, I’ve been to Costco twice for a battery refund. Maybe it just needs a new alternator but I’m not sure.
I have an unpainted, replacement fender thats included. I believe the fender is cosmetic damage only and the frame wasn’t damaged, but I haven’t had it professionally checked. The neighbor across the street accidently backed into it in his Tacoma - he can verify if necessary. Tires will need to be replaced within the year. Needs an oil change, leather seats are worn, some tears. The carpets are really bad. Normal aging and wear for a car was kept outside for 30 years.
Third owner. Purchased about 7 years ago, drove it daily for a few years then only a few times a month the last 2-3 yeas. Biggest repair was I replaced the muffler and exhaust. It’s had some hiccups turning over for a while. I have most of the records.
A while ago my brother was in a accident and needed a car. I loaned him this car thinking I'd get it back in a few months the way it was and well, 2yrs later I finally get it back in the shape that's it in. He was a smoker and used the passenger seat as a trash can pretty much. He had no respect for the Legend!
So, it needs work. I'm not sure how much, I'd estimate 00-00 worth of work but I really don't know. Tags are dead, inspection and emmissions sticker is expired. Odometer is broken, works half the time, it read 120k 3-4 years ago- averaged 5k miles a year. I don't have the time, skill or patience to fix it up. It’s a smooth ride when its running well - all the bells and whistles for a ‘93. I also have a full size spare wheel that will come with it.
