Up for sale is a very nice Fairchild Transcription Turntable W/ 202 Tonearm And 205 Equalizer.
The motors and platter are in good shape. The belts are in good shape, too.
It is in very good cosmetic condition. There is some minor cosmetic wear to some of the hardware, and a typical patina to the plinth and tonearm.
The tonearm is a Fairchild 202, and it is hooked up with a Fairchild 205E Equalizer.
Also included is a second tonearm. I’m not sure what brand it is, but it is stamped “800”, and has “PL55” stamped on a plastic sleeve for the wire. It is made of pot metal, and has a very heavy counter-weighted back end. It looks similar to some of the early Astatic transcription arms.
It includes a Royal model RM910E cartridge, an Astatic MLP-10 cartridge, and four belts.
This turntable is hefty, and weighs approximately 60 LBS. It’s very nice!
