Technics SL-1301

Description

Classic working Technics SL-1301 in decent shape. I've cleaned the controls coresponding to the speed controls. Speed is locked on and steady at 33 or 45. The speed button for 45 is a little stuck but functions as it should. 33 moves freely. But they both change the speed every time.
Table and auto fictions work as they should. Lid is a little bowed at the back and cracked at one hinge.
You'll have two headshells with this sale. One issue is this cartridge is far to light. The counterweight is screwed in all the way to set at the 2 grams needed. Either the headshell and cartridge need more weight or the counterweight lighter. But the counterweight looks original. As is it tracks fine and sounds good.
Cables have been upgraded some years ago.
Base has some scuffs and nicks. Lid could use a polish.
I've shipped many turntables over the years and understand what it takes packing wise. Platter and counterweight will be packed below the table.
